Better Jobs in USA or EUROPE?

I'm trying to convince my Italian boyfriend to move back to the States with me, but he doesn't believe me that the jobs are better and pay WAY more there. I know for a fact, because i used to live in the States, and work, and now i live in Italy, and work but make little money. There really isn't a chance for growth or promotions in the jobs here in Italy. While in America, even if you don't have a degree there are so many jobs you can have and get promotions and a good pay. My boyfriend is in the Architect Field, he's more into the techincal and computer aspect of it rather then actual designing of houses, but he goes on the spot and surveys and plugs everything back in the comp. surveying/measuring before the actual construction takes place more or less? I just wanted to get some of your input on this topic, help me come up with a better argument to convince him to move because i can't stand living here anymore!!!!!!!

Let him know that the Housing Market here in the states will never stop growing. There will always be a demand for people in his line of work. I am in Real Estate and I meet people in his line of work who absolutely will not leave America just because of the fact the they will always have work here in the states. And it is a fact that you have more people moving here for work rather than to Europe for work. Europe is know for its Tourism and America is know for its opportunity to get ahead. Good luck!
Reply:Better job prospects? USA no contest. Has your friend ever been here? I know he probably likes the food in Italy better, but unless you move to some hick town in the middle of nowhere there are a million restaurants here just as good as Europe. The pay is better, the taxes are lower, the working conditions are better. Tell him to give it a 6 month try.
