A little survey for all those with tattoos?

I am thinking of getting a tattoo....


A few questions...


1. How much does it hurt on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being low 10 being unbearable)





2. Where do you think is the sexiest spot on a woman for a tattoo?





3. Do you know of any websites where I can find designs?





4. Final one..What does your tattoo look like?

A little survey for all those with tattoos?
1: For me, the pain was about at a 4. picture dragging a needle point along a pretty bad sunburn. That's basically what it felt like for me. It hurts as you get closer to a bone, like your ankle or shin bone (or anywhere where the skin is thinner) Remember that the pain is different for everybody. Some people find it just kindof annoying, some find it really relaxing, and some find it almost unbearable.





2: I think it really depends on the woman. I like tattoos that flow with the body, ones that accent what was already there. does that make any sense? Maybe an example would be a rather big tattoo on the ribs/side that flows with the body, increasing the curves.





3: There are TONS of websites out there. If you're looking for something specific, you can just type it into a search engine. like "Star tattoo" or something like that. A couple sites that I've found helpful:


www.bmezine.com: I'm pretty sure this has the largest collection of pictures on the internet


www.deviantart.com: more a website for a lot of different kinds of art, but they have a lot of tattoo designs if you search for them


Once you find something you like, or a few different designs, print them out and take them to a good tattoo artist. That way you can talk to them about what you like about each picture, and they can combine and add or subtract, to make it perfect and unique to you.





4: I have a tattoo of a rose and two buds and leaves, surrounded by ribbons on my ankle, it's kindof in the shape of a cross, but it doesnt have any religious significance


I also have a kindof tribal-y design of a horse head I designed my self that has the name of my recently deceased niece hidden in it. This is on my inner calf.

Reply:The pain wasnt too bad but it was different for each one Id say 5 was the worst. The sexiest spot I think is low on the hip. Google it. And they all look different
Reply:1. it really depends on where you get it, i have quite a few including an entire back piece and ive had them from 1 to me damn near crying in the chair.


2. personaly i think it depends on what your getting


3. my advice is to get a basic idea, and go to a shop and have them custom draw you one

Reply:1. 5 for the outline, 3 for the shading (yes, they feel different, since they have a difference configeration of needles).





2. Where ever makes her feel most confident. Keep in mind, confidence is the most important aspect of sex appeal.





3. Hopefully inside your own head. Picking out pre-made designs may be easy, but it means millions of other people have the exact same tattoo you have. Don't you want something a little more meaningful? It's going to be on you forever. It's not like an outfit that you can just change if another girl at the party has the same thing you have.





4. Mine is about 6in x 2in, the constellation Cassiopeia inside my right hip. I used layered 4-point nautical stars (like a compass rose, one on top of eachother, the bottom one smaller), and nebulous clouds in magenta.

Reply:1. i give it an 8, Yes! it hurts but it only hurt when they out line your design after that its like nothing so then ill give it a 2.





2. anywhere is sexy for women, we're sexy no matter what....hahaha =P





3. how i got my tat design is i just look at some picture of dragons on the web. no web site to go to. just get an idea of what you want then look for it.





4. my tat. is a baby dragon on a clif. it on my back hip. i had to cover my first one i had..... i did some thing stupid, Yes! i got a guys name on me. so dont do that.... =)


but now I love my tat!!!!

Reply:1. it depends on the location as to how much it hurts. shoulders, painful. neck, not bad. lower back on sides - it tickles! (i'm very ticklish, i was actually laughing).





2. i think the shoulderblade. i have one there. i love it! THAT one was painful, though.





3. i wouldn't suggest a website. i'd come up with my own, because everyone will have one that's on a website. you want something unique to YOU.





4. i have purple lilies on my left shoulder blade, a claddagh symbol on my lower neck, a chinese symbol for grace on the right side of my lower back, and an ankh on the lower left side of my back.

Reply:The pain depends on where you get it. The first one I got was on a shoulder blade, it took about an hour and wasn't too bad until the end - probably about a 7. It's a tiger holding a rose in it's paws. Then I have a small parrot sitting on a branch on the front of my shoulder that I would give a 1 on the pain scale because it's pretty muscular there. Then I have my cats' head portraits on my inner leg just above the ankle bone. I'd give that an 8 for pain. Not a one of them ever hurt so much as to be unbearable or cause crying.





I like the shoulder and the ankle for tattoos on a woman and sometimes the inner wrist, but I hear they hurt really bad.
Reply:1. mine was a 4 or 5 the amount of pain will depend on the size of the tattoo the location and your personal pain tolerance





2. my first one was on my hip being a woman i love tattoo's on the hip back or neck... for men i think ribs back and arms are hot (my hubby has some also)





3. i just look for stuff and print it then my hubby modifies it for me then we take it to the artist and they make all the crisp clean lines





4. i have one right now and its just a small cross on my hip with some detail work around it

I never chose any design from any of the shops or from the Internet I told them what I wanted and we collectively came up with some ideas and went from there. I never wanted something someone else had--- OK except for my EGA on the small of my back. that one you can't re-design

2. Any part that you want to accentuate. If you have good legs, then ankle. good abs, hip.....

Reply:1)If you get your tattoo on a place w/ a lot of meat on it I.E. butt, breast,upper arm, it wont hurt as much as a place close to the bone. I give it a 5 I suppose.


2)I like the breast, I DON'T like the "tramp stamp"
