F.Torres or David Villa?
Gerrard or Lampard?
C.Ronaldo or David Silva?
Q2)What are your thoughts on Spain being ranked as the best team in the world, forcing Argentina off the top spot?
:)
Football Survey-Who would you choose to be in your team and why??
errr... both! can't choose. torres' speed is amazing, and villa's finishing skill is incredible
maybe lampard
silva
we can't see the ranks after euro, have to wait for the world cup to make fair judgement. or at least, we need to have friendly match between spain and argentina with their full squad in the near future, then we can see who's best! but i have to say that right now spain really has potential players and most of them are still young! argentina also has messi, tevez, aguero, and some other players who are young as well though.. 2 great teams with great potential for at least 5 years from now!
Reply:F.Torres or David Villa?
Eeekk both!
Sorry can't pick.
Although I do have a soft spot for Nando ;)
Gerrard or Lampard?
Gerrard no contest!
Doesn't really need a reason does it?
C.Ronaldo or David Silva?
David Silva.
Is generally amazing.
Doesn't cheat/dive/cry.
Q2) I think thats great! Viva EspaƱa!
Reply:Gerrard would not be any good in any other football team, now and again his speculative shots go in.
Reply:Torres even though i think villa is a fantastic striker. Reason being is that Torres has far more potental, Torres is 23 i think while Villais 27, Villa is at his peak while Torres has many years before he reaches it. If torres or Villa avalable Torres
Gerrard because he can score just as much as lampard but he is more influental in assists too, which lampard lacks a little. Gerrard is also a proven captain and can drive the team on when the team needs it ie champions league and FA Cup, lampard is not proven as a captain and is nowehere near as good leader as Gerrard
C Ronaldo is simply the best player on this planet right now and while silva will get better too he is not going to score 41 goals in a couple of years, his pace is not the same equivilance and his agression in his play is not of teh same standrad. Silva wont score better or more free kicks then ronaldo either. Miss Torres i know u hate cr7 but he is PHENOMINAL AND THIS COMES FROM AN ARSENAL FAN!
2) I think its a better option then argantina because argentina only are really proven every four years because they are not in europe and spain beat the world champions along will alot of very very established sides. I dont think they deserve to be best in teh world though, i strongly beliuve the world champions should be CLASSED the best in teh world, you should gain that honour along with the trophy because the prize is therefore mmore prestigous. But ye your better than argentina so kl
:)
Reply:Fernando Torres --- He's is an amazing player has ALOT of talent! Villa is a good player but need someone to pass him the ball to score! While torres on the otherhand Sets up goals and scores goals! key player on a team! :)
Steven Gerrard--- He is a brill player! and an amazing captain! he will make a great role model for the team!
David Silva--- Although he has ALOT to learn! he is good at long range shots! good person to have on the field! :P ( i would have chosen ronaldo but i already have a shining star torres why do i need the grease head?? :P)
Spain is Lyk officially thee best team in the world?? HECK YA! i think they deserved it who care's about argentina?? they are old stuff now! its tym 2 let the spanish brilliance SHINE! :P
Reply:David villa-he is good
Gerrard-he is good too
C.ronaldo-he is the best though
...spain is really good...i mean they have imroved a lot...but i am not sure if they are better than argentinia...probably....yes they do deserve it really...but we cant forget portugal...portugal is my fav and they are the best...better than spain...(but spain is still good)
Reply:Torres...United don't need another midget striker
Gerrard...sadly i think he's a better player
C.Ronaldo...tested and proven in the EPL
Good for them...lets see how long they stay top.
Reply:villa
lampard
c.ronaldo :)
2, spain are good when they put their minds too it - another team could easily take their place though
Reply:Villa. Watched him for years (I follow Valencia fairly closely) and I like what he's done...plus I'm one of the few people on the planet who have never fantasized about Torres (football or otherwise).
Suppose Gerrard...lesser of two evils.
Ronaldo. He can leave his attitude and questionable tactics at home and just bring his skill.
Q2. Agree that Spain deserved to be ranked higher than they were but it's tough to say...especially considering the two weren't in direct competition you know? But Argentina being 6th is utter bull. Has anyone seen Brazil lately...because I could have sworn they went missing...
Reply:Q1) Torres (hard one but ill always have to got for our man! LOL)
Gerrard (lampard is to overrated and is s.h.i.t!!)
Silva (i personally think silva is better and i hate ronaldo so much!)
Q2) i think it great they fully deserve it and our the best team in the world!
Reply:Torres
Gerrard
Silva
Maybe when Spain win a World Cup I'll think of them as the best team in the world. But since Argentina had no chance of winning the Euros, it seems daft to say that just cos they're not ranked #1 that they're not best team in the world - you can't score ranking points if you're not in the tournament!
Reply:villa
gerrard
ronadlo
spain deserve it,even you birthday girl cant say thay dont.
Reply:torres
gerrard and silva
ronaldo diver villa good but prefer torres gerrard anyday
i jus cnt believe argentina have droped 6 places but spain are good but harsh on argentina and wat bout england wat are we 12 wat a joke
Reply:I would prefer Torres any day because not only of his youth, but he proved in the final that he can do just as good if not better when push came to shove! Let us not forget who helped Villa get his hat-trick in the opening game, and yes sure Villa scored 4 goals, but Torres ran the Russia defence to its knees so much that Spain were able to capitalise and finish them off swiftly after, although many people failed to see that. And if I am that desperate I will go for the goals scored in a whole season. He made an immediate impact in a foreign country on his debut season for a club with a great history wearing on of the most famous shirts in Liverpool FC history.
Gerrard: Champions League against Olympiakos. Champions League against A.C. Milan. FA CUP against West Ham. Those are just three of the big games that he has pulled his team by the scruff of their neck over the finishing line. People say a player is never bigger than a club, but if one was to come close, it would be Gerrard. He is our Dalglish, he is our Rush and our Fowler. Our Shankley and our Paisle. Lampard is good, just not great. It is far easier to work with world class strikers and midfielders, goalies and defenders than to work with average or jus above averfae players (I mean from 2004/05 season). Gerrard also scores from freekicks, from 20,30,40 yards. He scores them high into the top corner, dips them low just beyond the keepers' hands. He is a leader and an idol to many. Lampard can do some of those things every now and then, but Gerrard does that when he has to. I can't remember when he has actually not turned up on a day that we needed him. Over 400 games for Liverpool? The guy is not great, he is not even world-class. He is a legend, one of those rare ones, the kind that still walks among us but we know they will be sayin 'Remember that Gerrard!'
Ronaldo: Hurts to say it, but he is on the form of his life. He is one of the best footballers around at this moment in time. He has skill, he can score, he can score from any angle, under any circumstance at any position in the pitch. There is confidence, and then there is arrogance, and he has that, which makes it easier to hate. The only problem is that he doesn't turn up much for big games. Silva is great, but it is unfair to put him next to Ronaldo. Ronaldo is still very young which scares me! And anyway, doesn't the fact that he is loved by everyone at Man U and hated by everyone else prove that he MUST be good?
Spain: They didn't just win the Euro 2008. They went and retrieved football. They didn't just do this for their nation, or even for Liverpool (lol) they did it to prove that yes! you can still place football and win something. I have never seen such great football. Against Russia, they are winning 2-0! Defend the game out? I THINK NOT, MAKE IT A THIRD! Against Germany. There is 15 minutes left, Torres is off, defend your way to glory (remember a failed attack could lead to a succesful counter-attack by their oponents)? NOPE, MAKE IT A SECOND. No way were they going to win the Cup by a single goal. Yes, they failed on that front, but they more than made up for it by their throwing caution to the wind and playing some great football. Argentina haven't had that in a while now! They will prove themselves at the world cup I think, but they certainly have underperformed in major tournaments recently. Spain could have won the world Cup with the form they had this tournament. Holland however could have won it too and it would have been just as good. Had they not switched off in their last game against Russia.
Reply:erm, can pick.
