I just paid $190 to have my sofa professionaly cleaned but now whenever I try to spot clean it, it leaves a ring around the spot from the leftover water. How do I prevent this?
(I posted this question already, but I'm not getting any help from the cleaning and laundry dept. so I'm hoping that my poll and survey buddies will come through instead!)
How do you spot clean a microfiber sofa, without leaving water marks?
My guess would be to call the company which cleaned your sofa and maybe they can recommend something. After cleaning it, they should have put Scotchguard on there to protect it. Once you have something professionally cleaned, whether it's a couch, carpet, or whatever. the original protective coating that is used is usually removed, thus leaving it more succeptable to stains, dirt and water marks.
Reply:I would call up the cleaners and demand them to come back out. Maybe there is a protective scotch guard they put on it that you can only clean a certain way. You really should ask the one who cleaned the couch. They have werid chemicals in that stuff
